Loftis Girls finish regular season 7-0

The Loftis Middle School girls beat East Hamilton 6-3 on Friday, April 23rd, finishing the season a perfect 7-0. Having winning sets for the Cougars were:

Loftis Middle School had four girls and one boy chosen ALL COUNTY in tennis for the 2009-2010 school year. They were:

Tennis Season Moving

Next school year the tennis season will take place at the beginning of the school year, not the end. The season will conclude on September 24th. Any one interested in trying out will have to have a physical dated after May 1st, 2010. Information will be given out to upcoming 7th and 8th graders before the end of this school year.

Loftis Girls win 6th straight match

Yesterday, the Girls Tennis team beat Soddy Daisy 8-1. Having winning sets were: Chloe Mitchell, Emily Edwards, Caroline Lewis, Adrianna Peckinpaugh, Brooke Hale, Cameron Hinch and the doubles teams of Mackenzie Landreth/Daisy Chumbler and Sarah Hutcheson/Leslie Lewis. The girls team is now 6-0. They will try for a perfect season tonight against East Hamilton Middle. Girls and boys should report to the courts by 3:15.


For the boys, Dhrub Yadav and Ryan DesJarlais won their singles. The doubles teams of Dhrub Yadav/Riley Smith and Chris Tindall/Rivers DeFriese also won.

Loftis Middle School girls tennis team beat Ooltewah 9-0 on Monday (4/12/10). Having winning sets for the Cougars were Emily Edwards, Adrianna Peckinpaugh, Chloe Mitchell and Brookelyn Hale. Great job girls. The team's record is now 4-0.
